Oneness

To reprogram us, Inka in Peru, the few remaining shamans reprogram the system. Paleolithic healing methods, shamans.
Yes, yes shamans renewing sense of purpose and heal.
Googling about our energy and the healing of soul and body brought me to the book which describes and explains practices and principles for heal our brain and clearing our mind.
I'm talking about “One Spirit Medicine” Ancient Ways to Ultimate Our Physical and Mental Health.
Author, Dr. Villoldo promises, that we can feel better in a few days, begin to heal our brain and clear our mind in a week, and in six weeks we will be on our way to effectively “growing a new body”, one that mends rapidly, ages gracefully and keeps us connected to Spirit, to the earth and to a renewed sense of purpose in our lifes.
Today our minds, our emotions, our relationships, our bodies are out of kilter. We know it, but we tend to ignore it until something brings us up short - a broken relationship, a worrying diagnosis or simply an inability to function harmoniously in everyday life. When things are a little off, we read a self-help book. When they’re really bad, we bring in neurologists to repair the brain, oncologists to address cancer, psychologists to help us understand our family of origin.
But this fragmented approach to health is merely a stopgap.
To truly heal, we need to return to the original recipe for wellness discovered by shamans millennia ago - One Spirit Medicine.
Unlike modern medicine, which recognizes thousands of ailments and myriad remedies, One Spirit Medicine identifies one ailment and one cure. The ailment is alienation from our feelings, from our bodies, from the Earth, and from Spirit.
The cure, One Spirit Medicine, is the experience of primeval Oneness, which restores inner harmony and facilitates recovery from all maladies, regardless of origin. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience as a medical anthropologist and training in the shamanic tradition - as well as his own journey back from the edge of death - acclaimed healer and teacher Alberto Villoldo introduces us to this powerful practice, based on healing methods that our Paleolithic ancestors knew 50,000 years ago and supported by the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience. We learn how to detoxify the brain and gut with superfoods and supplements; discover ways to switch off the “death clocks” in our cells; explore techniques for working with our luminous energy fields to repair our bodies and our brains; and follow the ancient teachings of the medicine wheel to shed disempowering stories from the past and pave the way for rebirth.
Through One Spirit Medicine, the shamans found that they could grow a new body that allowed them to live in extraordinary health. They learned how to switch off the "death clock" inside every cell, and turn on the "immortality" genes that reside in password-protected regions of our DNA. Cancer, dementia, and heart disease were rare. The shamans of old were truly masters of prevention.
Drawing on more than 25 years of experience as a medical anthropologist - as well as his own journey back from the edge of death - acclaimed shamanic teacher Alberto Villoldo shows us how to detoxify the brain and gut with superfoods; techniques for working with our luminous energy fields to heal our body; and follow the ancient path of the medicine wheel to shed disempowering stories from the past and pave the way for rebirth.
Using the principles and practices in this book, we can feel better in a few days, begin to clear our mind and heal our brain in a week, and in six weeks be on our way to a new body - one that heals rapidly, retains its youthful vitality, and keeps us connected to Spirit, to the earth, and to a renewed sense of purpose in our life.

Relaxing Tibetan Meditation

Our brain is a powerful thing.  Powerful enough to affect our mental and physical well being.
As we learn to control our mind through high-stress times, instead of letting it control us, we gain the ability to positively affect our health on many levels.

So, Relaxing Tibetan Meditation is here now :)

Inner voice, intuition or

Or higher self? Or gut feeling? Or inner voice? Or intuition?
Or all of the above?
Our intuition can be greatest guide in our life.
Intuition is a feeling or energy that we feel deep inside. Intuition connects us not only to our truth, intuition connects us to a Higher Truth as well. This is our own personal GPS.
But, often times instead of following our intuition to life decisions make, we start to follow our ego and make decisions out of anxiety and fear. This way lead us to a life of disconnection, discontentment and stress.
Thankfully though, our intuition is strong and it’s constantly communicating with us trying to lead us on the right path.
We have to do is only slow down and pay attention.
So if we’re wondering if there is anything our intuition is trying to tell us, here is what we need to know:

  • A)  A specific dream or desire of ours keeps resurfacing over, over and over again.
We have many dreams and desires. Some based in ego and some just for quick fulfillment. However, if a desire keeps coming back over, over and over again even when the initial hype is over, and if we feel a strong excitement and big YES when our think about this dream, it’s because our intuition is trying to tell us to go exactly in that direction.
Egoic desire is temporary, impulsive, doesn’t fulfill us long term, and may even make us feel anxious, guilty or heavy.
Intuitive desire is more persistent, more of a heart’s calling and is permanent feels exciting and light and constantly resurfaces to remind us of what our soul needs.

  • B) Intuition is a subtle inner voice which constantly telling us somewhat or telling us to DO something.
It’s something we can’t shake and it always reappears.  This voice isn’t a devil like voice though such as “you’re stupid” or “eat more chocolate”. No, this voice is loving and kind, this voice is wise and wants the best for us. It’s not judgmental, critical or condescending.
This voice is basically our inner knowing or our inner wisdom telling us what we know deep down inside us should be doing.  Despite it being loving and kind, it can be uncomfortable to hear what it has to say because often times it’s telling us to get out of our comfort zone and face our fears so that we can evolve and be our best self.
What is OUR inner voice tell us??

  • C)  Our intuition communicates with us through our feelings.
Our feelings are a great way to tap into our intuition. When we’re around certain people or in certain environments, or doing certain things, or eating certain foods… we need pay attention to how we feel.
Whenever we feel a really peaceful and warm sensation, or we feel content, elated and joyful, our intuition is giving us the green light. When we feel anxious, heavy, off and like something is wrong but we can’t explain why we feel that way, our intuition is telling us it's a don’t-go for us.
What are our feelings trying to tell US?
The point is that our intuition is persistent and consistent. It’s an energy or feeling that doesn’t go away. It's always loving and kind!
And, our intuition doesn’t make any sense intellectually or logically.  It's unreasonable and even crazy at times. But this doesn't mean that it's not right.
In the end, even though your intuition is persistent, it’s also very gentle and subtle, it can be hard to detect if we are not paying close attention.
So we need to slow down, become aware of our inner world, and see what our intuition a.k.a higher self a.k.a gut feeling is trying to tell us!

Fresh Carrot Hummus

Carrots are one of the most popular, versatile vegetables in the world!

Whether they are eaten raw, juiced or cooked, people from every culture, throughout history, have consumed carrots in their many forms.

Tasty dip combines the flavours of fresh carrot, coriander and orange.
This is a simple recipe to make, ingredients just goes into a food processor.

Carrots add a delicate sweet note that is kept in check by the creamy goodness of the garbanzo beans, given depth and nuance by way of a generous helping of paprika and a little smoky heat from some ground chipotle.
All this is kind of addictive ;)

For Fresh Carrot Hummus we need:
  • 5 cups grated carrot,
  • ½ cup blanched almonds,
  • 2 cloves garlic - chopped,
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil,
  • ½ cup tahini,
  • ½ cup orange juice,
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice,
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika,
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin,
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves,
  • salt and ground black pepper.
Place all ingredients in a food processor and whizz to make a spreadable, smoothish dip. Adjust seasoning to taste. Thin as desired with water or extra oil. Transfer to a jar and store in the fridge until needed, for up to 5 days.
This healthy and beguilingly creamy dip is great as a snack. Could be lunchbox filler with vegetable bites or crackers. It is great with bruschetta.
